Description

The land is laid out in five fields, access to the land is from a metalled track serviced from Holmes Lane from the south and Bridge Lane from the East.

The land is described as Grade 3 and is of the Wallasea 1 soil series which is a deep stoneless non-calcareous and calcareous clayey soil.

Location

The land is located at Horkstow Bridge, 9 miles North East of Scunthorpe, 5 miles south west of Barton Upon Humber and 1.3 miles south of the River Humber. The land is at a level between two 5 metre contours to the east and west and is formed by a parcel of land between the Old and New routes of the River Ancholme.

The land wraps around an ex brick works to the east, to the north adjacent to the River Humber is a large cement works and the northern end of the land is crossed by overhead electricity cables strung between off site pylons.

Flood Risk
